Weddings

Based in Greater Manchester, we can provide string quartets, trios, duos and individual musicians to provide music for weddings or civil ceremonies throughout the North West.

A trumpet provides charismatic music in a church for the entrance of the bride.  Alternatively, in a civil ceremony, a string quartet creates atmospheric music as the guests arrive and then for the entrance of the bride. We are happy to advise you about your musical requirements in order to make your day memorable.

A typical wedding would involve the following:

• Background music for the arrival of the wedding guests
• Music for the arrival of the bride
• Two pieces for the signing of the wedding register
• Music for the departure of the newly weds

The ensemble would then play for the drinks reception and, if required, for the wedding breakfast.

The style of music is entirely your choice, whether you want the traditional Wagner's Bridal Chorus (Here comes the Bride) and Mendelssohn's Wedding March or would like to personalise your wedding with your own choice of music. Audio clips can be heard on the repertoire page and a repertoire list can be downloaded - our selection of music is increasing all the time.   If you have a special piece that you would like for your wedding, we can arrange it for your chosen ensemble.
