  • The quartet played beautifully at our wedding at the Manchester Art Gallery. They are a group of experienced musicians that sounded great on the day. We couldn’t recommend them enough. They were extremely professional and even learned a new song for us (which sounded amazing)! We couldn’t ask for a more perfect group of musicians for our wedding day.

     

  • 'Claire and the band were all just perfect on our big day. It really added that something special on top to help make it a day to remember. Myself and the bride were blown away with the atmosphere they helped create and they were a big hit with the guests. I gave them very little direction on the type of stuff I wanted them to play! But everything they chose was better

  • Wow, how fantastic it was to have Thackeray String Quartet play for our wedding. Our guests are still talking about it ! We had a few specific songs we wanted for the ceremony and spoke with Claire to arrange those including a sing along with our guests which went down really well. We left the rest to them, it’s clear we were in safe hands, their playlist is vast and suits all tastes, they even took requests on the day. Thank you Claire and the team for making our day so special.

  • We would highly recommend Thackeray Music. The string quartet played amazingly and created a lovely romantic atmosphere for our wedding.
    We got married at The Midland Hotel in Manchester and the next morning, a random guest approached me and asked if I was the bride from the wedding the day before, to which I replied yes, she continued to tell me how much they enjoyed the string quartet, they said the bar was full with people just sitting and enjoying the music. 
    Claire and her team were fantastic, very easy to book and I would most definitely book them again. Thank you for being part of our perfect day.
